SUBSTANCE: method for deamination an amino compound, the method comprising adding an isolated polypeptide having transaminase activity on the amino compound, wherein said polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 7 or amino acid sequence characterized by at least 75 % homology with SEQ ID NO: 7, or a microorganism transformed with a polynucleotide encoding said recovered polypeptide into a solution containing an amino compound, where the amino compound is at least one compound, selected from a group consisting of gamma-aminobutyric acid, 5-aminovaleric acid and 6-aminocaproic acid.

EFFECT: novel transaminases and a method for deamination an amino compound using them are disclosed.
