FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to plastic surgery. Nd:YAG laser radiation source with wavelength of 1064 nm is used and a fibre-optic light guide with a fibre thickness of 300 mcm, which is optically connected to said laser radiation source. Steps of surgical intervention are performed to remove excess skin of eyelids or to remove at least one hernial packet of paraorbital adipose tissue from hernia pockets in orbital area. At that, when performing the above stages of the surgical intervention, performing at least one biological tissue incision in the orbital area by means of Nd:YAG laser radiation with wavelength of 1064 nm, which is supplied in pulsed mode with frequency of 50 Hz, with pulse duration of 30 ms and power from 6 to 8 W from said laser radiation source through said fibre-optic light guide to the place of performed section. Method defines energy and time parameters of Nd:YAG laser radiation with wavelength of 1064 nm, providing the exposure on the biotissue adequate for making the biotissue cuts of sufficient depth and without excessive traumatization of the biological tissue along the edges of the incisions.
EFFECT: method enables improving the aesthetic effect of the blepharoplasty procedure and reducing the rehabilitation period.
