SUBSTANCE: invention relates to counteracting biofouling based on UV radiation and relates to object (10), which during operation is at least partially immersed in water, wherein object (10) further comprises anti-fouling system (200), comprising a UV emitting element (210), wherein UV-emitting element (210) comprises one or more light sources (220) and is configured to irradiate with UV radiation (221) at the stage of irradiation of one or more of (i) part (111) of outer surface (11) of said water object (10) and (ii) near said part (111) of said outer surface (11), wherein object (10) is selected from a group consisting of ship (1) and infrastructure object (15), wherein object (10) further comprises water relay (400), wherein anti-fouling system (200) is configured to supply said UV radiation (221) to said part (111) depending on presence of physical contact of water relay (400) with water.
EFFECT: invention provides higher safety for the anti-aging biofouling system based on UV radiation.
