FIELD: transport machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method of vehicle clutch control. Device provides response of torque transfer to additional driving wheels relative to operation of accelerator pedal depressing when vehicle again starts from stop state. Either the left and right front wheels (6, 7), or the left and right rear wheels (14, 15) are configured as main driving wheels, and other wheels are configured as additional driving wheels connected through clutch (10) to electronic control. When the vehicle starts to move when the accelerator pedal depresses, clutch (10) with electronic control is engaged. In the clutch control method, when the vehicle changes from the drive state to the stop state while remaining in the "movement" transmission on position, control is carried out for application of initial torque Tr1, Tr2 as control of engagement torque of engagement (10) with electronic control when the vehicle is stopped. Initial torque Tr1, Tr2 is set equal to the value required to maintain the torsion state of the drive system by means of torque transmitted to the drive system of additional drive wheels until the vehicle stops.
