FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for conducting Tevenin acoustic calibration of probes or hearing aids. Method includes application of multiple different acoustic loads, by one acoustic load at specific moment in time, to output of probe or hearing device, characteristics of source of which must be determined. Each of acoustic loads is characterized by known acoustic input impedance and additional frequency-dependent complex correction factor ΔZ(f). Relation between acoustic pressure and volume velocity at the input of the acoustic load generated by the probe for a plurality of frequencies is determined, thus obtaining the correct characteristic of the source of the probe or hearing aid. Acoustic loads are input impedances of corresponding waveguides or other suitable cavities, and known acoustic input impedances are defined analytically. Correction factors are adjusted in the iteration process separately for each waveguide or cavity, for example, in the iteration process.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of calibration.
