FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: field of application: electrical equipment. Load device (400) for use in power supply device (200) and for location on first external electrically conductive element (50) comprises load (20) containing light source, and/or a sensor and/or an electronic circuit, and having a first load contact (2a) and a second load contact (2b) for powering power from the alternating current source (1), first electrode (3) electrically connected to first terminal (2a) of load, and dielectric layer (4). First electrode (3) and dielectric layer (4) are configured to form, in combination with first external electrically conductive element (50), representing outer surface of offshore structure, capacitor (6) for capacitive transmission of electric power between first electrode (3) and first outer element (50). At least one of capacitor (6) and second load contact (2b) is configured to transmit electric power through water (10) to form an electric path through water (10) between AC power supply (1) and corresponding one of capacitor and second of load contact (2b). First load contact (2a) is electrically isolated from second load contact (2b).

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability of power supply device when used in unfavourable environment conditions with low losses of efficiency or even without loss of efficiency and without risk of damage, for example, due to exposure to environment, for example, sea water.
