FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a coating based on direct production based on a coating varnish, to coatings for protecting a surface and protecting it from contamination, obtained accordingly, as well as to use thereof. Method of producing coating (B) on substrate (S) comprises: (I) directly on substrate (S) of coating lacquer (K) by applying water-based coating material (k) directly on substrate (S) and subsequent hardening of applied coating lacquer material (k). Coating lacquer material (k) is a two-component coating composition containing: (k.1) a basic component of the composition which contains (1) at least one aqueous dispersion containing water and a polyurethane resin fraction, which consists of at least one polyurethane resin, wherein the polyurethane resin fraction has a gel fraction which is at least 50 wt. %, which has a transition into a glassy state at a temperature in the range of -100 °C to less than -20 °C, and wherein has transition into molten state at temperature in range from -20 °C to less than 90 °C, and (k.2) a curing component comprising (2) at least one hydrophilically modified polyisocyanate having an isocyanate content of 8–18 %.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining coatings on substrates to increase resistance of substrates to external mechanical effects, to improve resistance of substrates to attracting dirt, resistance of substrates against atmospheric effects and/or retention of used protective substances, in particular impregnating liquids for spraying.
