SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a multilayer paint system based on a plastic base and can be used in the field of coating of a vehicle. Method of producing a paint system on a plastic base, in which a base coat film or several directly applied base coat films are obtained on a plastic base, wherein coating lacquer film is obtained directly on one film of base coating or on uppermost of several films of base coating, and then one or more base coat films and lacquer film are hardened together, wherein at least one base coating material contains at least one aqueous dispersion of polyurethane and polyurea, in which the polyurethane and polyurea particles have anionic groups and/or groups which can be converted to anionic groups, and an average particle size in range of 110–500 nm, as well as a gel fraction which is at least 50 wt. %.

EFFECT: invention provides high adhesion on base material aqueous base materials plastic bases.
