SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. To this end, an attempt is made to gain access to the system using the random access channel with extended coverage (EC-RACH), by transmitting to the RAN a system access message over the EC-RACH using repeated access bursts with extended synchronization (ESAB), wherein each ESAB packet is extended into 2 time slots on the EC-RACH, and each ESAB packet comprises 140 synchronization bits, 102 bits of the encrypted data, 3 end bits and 68 security symbols.
EFFECT: high efficiency of covering a random-access channel (RACH) with extended coverage (EC).
