FIELD: image processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photogrammetric processing methods of space images of area. Support and processed images are obtained. Identification areas of reference points are determined. Reference points on the selected area are identified. Sizes of processed image fragments are determined. Value of overlapping of adjacent fragments is determined. Image is divided into M fragments. Parameters of thin-walled spline for each fragment are determined. Fragment is transformed using the obtained model. Fragments are merged into a single image.

EFFECT: technical result consists in acceleration of spline transformation of space image in the absence of data on conditions of shooting by breaking the image into fragments.
