SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for preoperative diagnosis of connective tissue dysplasia. A level of alkaline phosphatase, sialic acid level, fibrinogen level, erythrocyte magnesium level and level of C-terminal end telopeptide of type 1 collagen in patient's blood serum is determined. Obtained values are compared with average population values for given age group obtained on similar laboratory equipment. All studies are carried out simultaneously, with taking one morning portion of blood, the examination is performed one day before the planned operation. If there is a combined increase in the level of alkaline phosphatase, the level of sialic acids, the level of fibrinogen, the level of magnesium erythrocytes and if there is a decrease in the level of the C-terminal end telopeptide of collagen type 1, the patient's blood serum is diagnosed with connective tissue dysplasia. Otherwise, connective tissue dysplasia is not confirmed.

EFFECT: method provides the reliable detection of the patients having connective tissue dysplasia in the preoperative period by analyzing the clinical-biochemical parameters having the characteristic changes in connective tissue dysplasia.
