SUBSTANCE: result is achieved due to implementation by processor of data processing system of model editing method, which includes identification of one or more regions of interest in a model and separation of one or more regions from the model to form a separated region and a base model. Method includes application of change to separated region to form changed separated region; repeated connection of the changed separated region to the base model to form a modified model; and output of resulting topology.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing automation of modeling processes.
