FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sensor designed to measure current in an electrical conductor. Rogowski coil current sensor comprises two layers of coils surrounding current conductor, each layer of coils comprising a plurality of windings wound around a plurality of axes, forming a contour of polygons of regular shape, arranged in parallel planes and arranged, facing each other, so, that each angular zone of the first polygon is located, facing the corresponding angular zone of the second polygon, and therefore coils of winding of the first layer of coils have orientations differing from orientation of turns of winding of the second layer of coils in an angular zone facing the above.
EFFECT: high measurement accuracy and insensitivity to external electromagnetic fields.
