FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: collection device for extraction of mineral particles contains: solid-phase body, made with three-dimensional structure with open pores, to provide multiple collection surfaces, and multiple molecules provided on collection surfaces, wherein the molecules contain a functional group having a chemical bond for attracting one or more mineral particles in the aqueous mixture to molecules, causing bonding of mineral particles to the collection surfaces, where the solid-phase body comprises a coating or layer made with a hydrophobic chemical selected from a polysiloxane derivative, and the coating or layer is modified with adhesion promoters, plasticisers, cross-linking agents, chain transfer agents, chain extenders, adhesion promoters, aryl or alkyl copolymers, fluorinated copolymers, hexamethyldisilazane, silicon dioxide or hydrophobic silicon dioxide.
EFFECT: invention relates to collecting means for use in separation of minerals.
