FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for assessing breeding, fattening and meat qualities of breeding pigs, including selection of repair youngstock when staged for rearing from herd having 14 (7/7) and more nipples in boars and at least 12 (6/6) normally developed nipples in gilts from parents with total score not lower than requirements of 1st class, weighing at body weight reaching 90–110 kg and measurement with conversion to 100 kg: body length; fodder consumption per 1 kg of live weight gain; thickness of speck, in accordance with scale for evaluation of repair young stock with achievement of live weight of 100 kg performance of point assessment of repair youngsters, which is determined taking into account deviations of general development and separate articles of exterior of repair young stock from higher score, wherein evaluation of their development and productivity is carried out using the principle of continuous score, and calculation of grades (G) is carried out by formulas: for direct index of productive qualities of pigs: G = 3/σ × (Pn − M + σ) and for inverse of pigs productive properties G = − 3/σ × (Po − M − σ), where P n—actual values of direct indicator of productive qualities of pigs, which with increase in actual value increases breeding qualities of animal; Po—actual values of inverse value of productive qualities of pigs, which with increase in actual value enhances breeding properties of animals; M is average arithmetic value; σ is the standard deviation, assigning the following to the grade ranges: G<3—"Out of class"; 3≤G≤6—"I class"; G>6—"Elite", devgrades (DG): G≤0→DG=0; 0<G≤1→DG=1; 1<G≤2→DG=2; 2<G≤3→DG=3; 3<G≤4→DG=4; 4<G≤5→DG=5; 5<G≤6→DG=6; 6<G≤7→DG=7; 7<G≤8→DG=8; G>8→DG=9 and formation of devgrades code (DGC).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of estimation of reproductive, fattening and meat qualities of breeding pigs.
