FIELD: chemistry; medicine; pharmacology; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in electronics, medicine, pharmacology and construction. First, a mixture of sulphuric acid and dry ice is prepared in an amount sufficient for solidification of the mixture and a mixture of at least one oxidant, for example potassium permanganate, with dry ice, wherein at least one of said mixtures contains ground graphite. Obtained mixtures are loaded into a high-pressure autoclave and mixed, for example, by means of rotation and shaking of the autoclave. Intercalation stage of graphite by means of its oxidation is performed in autoclave in supercritical fluid medium, heating external wall of autoclave to 35–50 °C. Graphene oxide is dispersed in water and washed in solutions of acids and water.
EFFECT: invention provides safe production of graphene oxide of high quality with relatively low time expenditures with considerable reduction of sulphuric acid consumption.
