SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for extracting and analyzing a direct analysis sample. Device for extracting and analyzing a direct analysis sample formed from a molten metallic material contained in a sample chamber assembly, wherein the sample chamber assembly comprises at least a sample body, a closing plate and a closing means, comprising a cabinet which defines an inner portion and comprising at least one opening for entering the sample housing into the cabinet, and an analyzing means located inside the cabinet for analyzing the surface for analysis of the sample; extraction means configured to remove at least the closure means to open at least a portion of the sample analysis surface; and a transfer means configured to hold and transport the sample body at least between the sample extraction position, in which the closing means are removed by the extraction means, and the sample analysis position, in which the sample analysis surface is analyzed by the analyzing means, and wherein the sample extraction position and the sample analysis position are different from each other. Invention also relates to a system and a method for extracting and analyzing a direct analysis sample.
