FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: gum base contains a food triblock copolymer with a molecular weight equal to 6000-400000 Da. The said triblock copolymer has a soft medium block and rigid end blocks. The soft medium block accounts for at least 30 % of the total weight of the three block copolymer. Glass transition temperature Tg of each rigid end block is lower than 70°C. Additionally, chewing gum is proposed.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce chewing gum with decreased adhesion to surrounding surfaces and acceptable chewing properties.
