FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to using a substance containing the H1foo gene, H1foo matrix RNA or H1foo protein to improve the quality of the induced pluripotent stem cell. Also disclosed is a method of producing an induced pluripotent stem cell of improved quality, comprising a step of administering (a) a substance for reprogramming the nucleus and a step of introducing (b) a H1foo gene or a H1foo matrix RNA or H1foo protein into a somatic cell. Invention also relates to use of a composition for producing an induced pluripotent stem cell of improved quality, containing (a) nuclear reprogramming substance and (b) H1foo gene or H1foo matrix RNA or H1foo protein.

EFFECT: invention enables efficient production of induced pluripotent stem cell of improved quality.
