SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an efficient method of producing an aqueous suspension comprising a plurality of copolymer particles suspended therein, to an aqueous suspension and copolymer particles, which can be used to produce polymer articles. Method of producing an aqueous suspension comprises reacting at step (a) a reaction medium comprising an organic diluent and at least two monomers, provided that at least one monomer is an isoolefin and at least a second monomer is a multiolefin. Step (b) comprises polymerising monomers in a reaction medium in the presence of an initiating system to form a medium, including copolymer, organic diluent and, optionally, residual monomers. At step (c), the obtained medium is in contact with an aqueous medium which contains at least one compound with a Lower Critical Dissolution Temperature (NCST) with a deposition threshold of 0 to 100 °C. Organic solvent and the residual monomers are then removed to obtain an aqueous suspension. Further, the copolymer particles are separated or imparted to the particles. NCTR compound is selected from a group, including poly (N-isopropylacrylamide), methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl methylcellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Amount of NCTT compounds present in the aqueous medium ranges from 1 to 20000 ppm relative to the amount of the copolymer present in the medium obtained at step (b). Aqueous medium contains 20000 ppm or less of compounds which do not have a strings. NCTR compound is soluble in liquid medium at lower temperature, but is deposited from the liquid medium at a temperature above the Critical Dissolution Temperature. Compound without HTDC is a compound which either does not have a deposition threshold or has a deposition threshold outside the range as defined above. Compounds without NCT are selected from a group, consisting of ionic or non-ionic surfactants, emulsifiers and anti-agglomerants, ion salts of mono- and polyvalent metals, salts of carboxylic acids with ions of polyvalent metals.

EFFECT: invention increases vulcanisation characteristics of the copolymer.
