FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for self-sampling of vaginal fluid from user's vagina. Said device (1) for self-sampling comprises a first elongated part (2) for insertion into a user's vagina and sample intake part (3) for collecting a sample of the user's vaginal fluid. Sample intake part (3) can be connected to elongated shape first part (2) inner end part (4) by means of detachable connection mechanism (5), including a rod, a hole or recess for receiving a rod and latching mechanisms.
EFFECT: device for self-sampling is used for sampling a vaginal fluid for subsequent laboratory analysis, exempli gratia, but not limited to, a list for DNA analysis for HPV.
