FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a robot. Robot comprises a movable structure, drive means for providing movement of the movable structure, a control system, comprising a control unit and capable of driving means, and a sensor coating arranged on the movable structure. Touch-sensitive coating includes sensory means containing at least one of contact sensor means and proximity sensor means. Sensor coating comprises a plurality of cover modules having each corresponding bearing structure of a predetermined shape, to which layer of elastically deformable material is connected. Covering modules are made with possibility of mutual connection in detachable manner. Bearing structure of some of said plurality of covering modules has connected to it mechanical connecting means, providing mutual mechanical detachable connection of two different covering modules from said plurality, adjacent to each other.
EFFECT: result is passive and active safety when using robot.
