FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fibre-optic method of transmitting data, in particular to connectors intended for fast mechanical connection and disconnection of optical fibres. Disclosed is a fibre-optic connector plug, which consists of a body with a coupling and a receiving part, a cap, an elastic bracket, a spreading bracket, a movable nozzle, and a protective cap of the ferrule. Spreading bracket is a U-shaped element consisting of a central part with a wedge and two lateral parts, on the ends of which there are hooks. Spreader bracket is made of transparent material.
EFFECT: higher quality of connection due to visual inspection of insertion loss before the end of installation.
