FIELD: renewable energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to renewable energy, in particular to sailing power plants, and can be self-contained power supply on northern territories, desert territories with unstable soils, which do not allow formation of a full-fledged foundation. Sailing power plant comprises one or several connected together platforms, each of which is equipped with set of sails installed on platform at specified angle, connected to control unit, and electric generator connected to collector rail. Plant is equipped with an annular guide made with possibility of mounting on piles, a trestle, in the central part it is fixed to a fixed support with the possibility of rotation around it, and at the ends it is equipped with support wheel assemblies providing installation and movement of the trestle along the annular guide. Platforms are installed on trestle with possibility of free movement along it under action of wind flow. Sails on platforms are installed in position ±45° to the direction of movement of the platforms with the possibility of changing their turning angle to the direction of movement of the platforms by the signal of the control unit when approaching the ends of the trestle. Control unit is equipped with a wind direction sensor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of wind flow energy use by sailing power plant as a result of possibility to change trajectory of plant platforms movement.
