FIELD: shipbuilding and renewable energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and renewable energy, in particular to offshore wind power plants. The sailing power plant consists of a symmetrical catamaran, at the bottom of which a hydrogenerator is fixed, connected by a cable-rope to the ballast on the seabed, and masts with drives for rotating the sails relative to the wind are installed, connected to the control device. A weather vane with contacts connected to a control device is also fixed on the sailing power plant, which ensures the rotation of the sails when the wind direction changes relative to the catamaran hull.
EFFECT: reliability of automatic movement of a catamaran along an arc trajectory in a given angular interval for any wind direction is achieved.
