FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and orthopaedic dentistry. It is used in clinical medicine in making silicone patterns in prosthetic repair by adhesive structures in damaged teeth and in splinting tooth decayed as a result of caries, its complications and injuries. Method of making individual silicone templates in damaged teeth involves restoring the anatomical shape of the tooth in a cervical region by direct restoration and making a silicone template. Prior to manufacturing of individual silicone template, destructed teeth are recovered in cervical area by at least 1/3 of height of their anatomical crowns. Then, a silicone template is made, which does not reach the level of dental restoration and the boundaries of the adhesive prosthesis or the splint structure in the cervical region at 1–1.5 mm. That is followed by splinting the teeth with adhesive structures or making adhesive bridge prostheses.
EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention is manufacturing of individual protective silicone template at destruction of anatomical shape of supporting teeth.
