FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electrophotographic image forming device (image forming device) and a cartridge detachably mounted on the main assembly of the image forming device. Invention comprises versions of process cartridges detachably mounted on main assembly of electrophotographic image forming device and versions of electrophotographic image forming devices containing corresponding cartridges. Process cartridge comprises: rotary photosensitive element, rotating developing roller configured to develop latent image formed on said photosensitive element, wherein said developing roller is able to contact with said photosensitive element and be at some distance from it, receiving part pushing force, configured to receive a clamping force from a clamping member of the main assembly side, to place said developing roller at a certain distance from said photosensitive member, cartridge drive side transmission element, capable of engaging drive drive side drive transmission element for receiving rotary force for said developing roller rotation, and a disengaging element capable of pressing the main drive side drive transmission member for disengaging said drive side drive from the drive transfer side drive side by means of the said part receiving pressing force of the part receiving pressing force from the clamping element of the main unit side.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of design for switching transmission of drive on developing roller due to possibility of switching drive for developing roller between cartridge and main assembly of image forming device.
