FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electrophotographic image forming device and a cartridge detachably mounted in a main assembly of an image forming device. Claimed group of inventions includes variants of technological cartridges. Process cartridge comprises a photosensitive drum, a first body supporting the photosensitive drum to rotate, a developing roller for developing the latent image on the photosensitive drum, a second housing supporting the developing roller with possibility of rotation, wherein the second housing is connected to the first housing and the second housing is rotatable relative to the first housing about the axis to move between (i) a first position, in which the developing roller is placed near the photosensitive drum so that the developing roller can display the latent image on the photosensitive drum, and (ii) a second position in which the developing roller is arranged at a distance from the photosensitive drum, and a clutch comprising a first drive transmission member provided along said axis and capable of receiving a rotary force, and a second drive transmission member configured to operably couple with the first drive transmission member and transmit said rotary force from the first drive transmission member to the developing roller, wherein coupling is made so that first drive transmission element and second drive transmission element are functionally connected to each other when second housing is in said first position so that second drive transmission member can receive rotary force from first drive transmission member and transmit this rotational force to the developing roller, and the first drive transmission element and the second drive transmission element are disconnected from each other when the second housing is in said second position so that the second drive transmission member does not receive the rotational force from the first drive transmission member.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improved coupling for switching drive for developing roller.
