FIELD: corrosion research.
SUBSTANCE: method includes shutdown of pipeline operation, pressure release in pipeline. Dismantling protective sleeve for temperature sensor from pipeline fitting, taking rod, end of smaller diameter of which is inserted into washer and flaring up to rigid fixation of washer on rod end, then corrosion test specimens are mounted alternately with insulating sleeves on rod and fixed with clamping and locking nuts, distance from lower generatrix of pipeline inner surface is made to upper flat surface of fitting, after which the rod is fixed in the threaded connection of the plug with the rod by means of a lock nut to the end surface of the plug at such a screwing depth, at which distance from rod lower end to plug surface contacting with sealing washer is equal to measured distance from lower generatrix of pipeline inner surface to upper flat surface of fitting in contact with sealing washer, after which assembled assembly with sealing washer is screwed into fitting.
EFFECT: reduced duration of installation of specimens-witnesses of corrosion due to reduction of number of mounting operations.
