FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for production of artificial seeds based on meristem of Solanum tuberosum L. culture, consisting in encapsulation of fragments of meristems of young stems of Solanum tuberosum L. in gel capsules containing a biocide. Nutrients support viability of vegetal fragments in alginate capsules, and content in gel matrix of biocide protects AS from contamination. Besides, presence of growth stimulants in nutrient medium promotes development of sprouts.
EFFECT: method enables to produce healthy, well-growing sprouts when reproducing a of Solanum tuberosum L from AS.
