METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME USING A RISK SCALE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/00 A61K38/02 A61P9/10 G01N33/49 G01N33/70

Abstract RU 2724017 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to internal diseases, cardiology, and can be used for prediction of acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) using a risk assessment scale. Interrogation, objective examination of the patient is performed, ultrasound examination of the heart, general and biochemical blood analysis is performed. For risk calculation it is required to estimate nine parameters, for each of which a certain number of points is given: systolic blood pressure 95 mm Hg and less – 3 points; increase of creatinine at admission to 44 mcmole/l and more as compared to basal, leukocytes in total blood analysis > 10*109/l, acute heart failure III-IV stage by Killip, increased troponin with ACS without ST segment elevation – 2 points , absence or ineffective reperfusion in ACS with ST segment elevation – 2 points, prescription of diuretics prior to development of ACS – 2 points; age ≥70 years, number of comorbid states > 3 – 1 point, use of streptokinase – 1 point. Their amount is calculated. If the total score is more than 3, a high probability of developing acute kidney injury is predicted.

EFFECT: method enables timely prevention and treatment of AKI patients by AKI prediction based on available anamnestic, clinical and laboratory-instrumental parameters by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
