SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of determining a dimensional mesh for a model of an elastic brace for the compression of veins, said method comprising the following steps: a) determining N morphological parameters, where N is greater than or equal to 2; b) obtaining a set of values of said parameters for sampling the target population of the patients, each sampling patient being associated with a patient point providing, for each parameter, value of said parameter; c) regardless of steps a) and b) determining the extent of coverage of said sample to cover said mesh, the required "coverage", d) determining a set of coverage areas, wherein each coverage area is a set of patient points that relate to a set of patients for which the same brace is adapted in accordance with said model and, therefore, correspond to a size adapted for said set of patients; wherein number of coverage areas is determined so, that percentage of patient points, which are included in at least one coverage area, is greater than or equal to said required degree of coverage, set of dimensions corresponding to said coverage area, determines said dimensional grid.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher efficiency of determining the dimensional mesh for the model of the elastic orthesis.
