FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for oral mucosa compliance measurement. Device is made in the form of manual probe with mechanical drive. Proposed device comprises case, angular probe, detachable tip and visual scale. Body is made in the form of hollow handle consisting of base and cover. Cylindrical case of measuring probe is conjugated with handle base at angle to its axis. Rod is movable and spring-loaded towards the handle side along the measuring probe axis. In inner cavity along handle there is plate-like flexural piezo-actuator. Piezo-actuator is connected to an external constant voltage source by means of an electronic circuit of smooth start-up on the circuit board inside the handle, and the console is brought to a ledge on the cam. Cam has an axis of rotation perpendicular to the plane of the piezo-actuator and interacts with the rod. Detachable tip of meter with flat pad is installed on another end of rod. Removable fixed support tip is placed on the tip of the probe housing, the plane of which is the reference point when the meter moves. To visually assess the measurements, the probe body is opened with a tangential opening above the rod surface. On the rod the annular groove is made, which is the initial reference mark on the scale on the groove plane. To accurately estimate measurements on the body of the probe in the hole perpendicular to the axis of the rod, which opens its tangential surface, a cylindrical stopper with a conic groove is installed on both sides of its center coinciding with the axis of the rod. From the circuit board inside the handle there is a cable for external power supply connection. Piezo-actuator is actuated by a button connected to a circuit board and mounted in a blunt angle of the probe.

EFFECT: higher quality of examination of the oral mucosa by an objective hardware method by using a compact drive in the angular probe – piezo-actuator inside its handle and transfer of force to the measuring element of the probe, as well as the possibility of mechanical fixation of the measuring element of the probe for accurate measurement at the end of use.
