FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to medicine, specifically to a method for measuring compliance of the mucous membrane. Palpation and visual assessment of the dental mirror is performed. After performing palpation and inspection to point of stiffness measurements, end face of angular probe body is brought in, and pad of detachable nozzle is oriented on rod movable along probe axis. Axial force to rod is transmitted through rotary cam from piezoactuator. Piezoactuator is placed along the axis inside the probe handle and connected to a source of external voltage. Voltage is increased smoothly by electronic regulator inside handle of probe and is also smoothly switched off. Visual assessment of measurements is carried out in the probe by movement of the rod relative to the probe body through a side window in the housing. Accurate measurement is carried out after mechanical fixation of the rod relative to the housing of the probe on the computer, in which graphical or tabulated calibrated dependences of compliance on the actuator force are plotted.

EFFECT: objective measurement of compliance of mucous membrane of mouth by method of transfer of force applied at pressure on mucous membrane to measuring element of probe, and at end of single measurement, if necessary, mechanical fixation for accurate measurement.
