FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and traumatology-orthopaedics, and can be used for treating spinal compression fracture. Percutaneous transpedunctular puncture of the vertebral body is performed under X-ray control with an electro-optical transducer with insertion of bone cement and followed by dereception of intervertebral joints adjacent to the injured vertebral body. Dereception is carried out by local thermal destruction of dorsal branch of spinal nerve by exposure to radio-frequency pulses from generator of high-frequency pulses. Electrode is inserted under the X-ray control of the electrooptical transducer into the points of localization of the dorsal branch of the spinal nerve of the intervertebral joints in combination with intervertebral discs discretion by exposure to radio-frequency pulses from a high-frequency pulse generator. Motor and sensor tests are performed. Radio-frequency pulses are exposed in thermal unipolar and/or bipolar mode at temperature of 85–95 °C with duration of 90–120 s by means of introduction of electrode with length of 100 or 150 mm with active tip of 10 mm.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness and reduced number of complications ensured by using local thermal decomposition of the dorsal branch of the spinal nerve with radio-frequency pulses controlled by an electro-optical transducer.
