FIELD: wear control means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of monitoring wear state of rail vehicle assemblies. Method comprises steps of: determining second state (C2) of wearing element (10, 12), which is chronologically following state after first condition (C1), starting from first condition (C1) of wearing element (10, 12), using machine learning algorithm, which represents wearable element (10, 12) chronological behavior, determining the first executable action (A1) performed on wearing element (10, 12), using a certain second condition (C2) of wearing element (10, 12) and at least one predetermined conditional criterion (cC) for wearable element (10, 12), determining the resulting third state (C3) of wearing element (10, 12) using the change in (cCH) state of wearing element (10, 12), wherein the change in state (cCH) is a consequence of the first executable action (A1), and again determining second executable action (A2) performed on wearable element (10, 12) using the resulting third state (C3) of wearable element (10, 12) and at least one predefined state-dependent criterion (cC) for wearing element (10, 12).

EFFECT: enabling increase in the rail vehicles units wear state monitoring reliability.
