FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to protect electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses (USP). The USP protection device consists of three conductors on one side of the dielectric substrate and a reference conductor on its reverse side, while the device is the first in the circuit and at the far end, its first conductor is connected to the near end of the first conductor of the second device consisting of two conductors on the dielectric substrate and a reference conductor on its reverse side; in the device, a preset choice of parameters of the cross sections of the first and second devices for the corresponding decomposition of USP is provided.
EFFECT: increased attenuation of the USP due to its decomposition into a sequence of twelve pulses of a smaller amplitude.
