FIELD: medicine; pediatrics; nephrology; balneology; restorative medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for rehabilitation of children with primary chronic pyelonephritis. Method includes pelotherapy, balneotherapy, therapeutic exercises, diet therapy, sparing-tonic sanatorium and climatic regimens. Balneoprocedures are prescribed in the form of sodium chloride baths with mineralization of 10–20 g/l and temperature of 36–37 °C, duration of 12 minutes, course of 10 procedures. First three daily, then every second day alternating with procedures of galvanopelotherapy, which are carried out on a renal projection region along a longitudinal technique using Saka sulphide mud at temperature of 38–39 °C, with current intensity of 0.04–0.06 mA/cm2 for 12 minutes. A course of 6 procedures every second day.
EFFECT: method provides higher immunity, achieving leveling of complaints, significantly reduces number of recurrences and prolongs clinical-laboratory remission of primary chronic pyelonephritis in children.
