FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology and hardware diagnostics, and can be used for non-invasive assessment of presence of atherosclerotic coronary disease in a human in vivo. That is followed by biomicroscopy of the vessels of the bulbar conjunctiva of the eye. If observing conjunctival microscopy, four segments of the temporal sector of the bulbar conjunctiva are examined serially, central, transitional and perilimbal. Arteriolo-venular coefficient is calculated, AVC, which is a partial average diameter of the arteriola and an average diameter of the venule, wherein the diameter of the arteriola and the venules, which run parallel to each other, are measured. Prevalence of intravascular erythrocyte aggregation - IVEA in these areas of the bulbar conjunctiva is also evaluated. If observing changes in parameters of microcirculation: AVC values less than 0.3, detection of IVEA in all investigated areas of bulbar conjunctiva, atherosclerosis of coronary arteries with involvement of envelope artery and right coronary artery of heart are determined.
EFFECT: method provides assessing the presence of a coronary artery lesion by an atherosclerotic process by analyzing data obtained by biomicroscopy of vessels of the bulbar conjunctiva of the eye.
