FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Disclosed is a method of identifying blood cells. Method involves placing the analysed preparation on an optical surface, illuminating by illuminator, conducting microscopy of the preparation and identifying the cells of the preparation. During the microscopy, the image of the preparation is formed on the receiving area of the electronic image receiver and electric signals are converted from the output of the electronic image receiver to the array of digital image data of the analysed preparation. Microscopy of the preparation is carried out first at the radiation wavelength of illuminator of 240 nm, the cell borders of the preparation are determined, then the preparation microscopy is carried out at the wavelength of the irradiation of illuminator 280 nm and 260 nm, and two cell images are obtained. One of images is subtracted from the other to determine optical density of cells, which correlates with content of proteins and nucleic acids in them.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and efficiency of blood cell identification.
