METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE TRANSPORTABILITY OF CHILDREN WITH ACUTE RESPIRATORY DYSFUNCTION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2725964 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for solving the problem of the state of children in a severe condition and their readiness for transportation. Patient's complex is determined depending on the age of child from 1 year to 4 years of life, which characterize the state of the central nervous system: Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS, points); state of the circulatory system: systemic arterial pressure (APsyst. and APdiast. in mm Hg), heart rate (in min), average dynamic pressure (ADP, mm Hg), symptom of "white spot" (in s), state of respiratory system: respiratory cycle frequency (in min), degree of stenosis (in points), peripheral saturation of oxygen (SpO2 in %), oxygen blood capacity (in g/l); blood system state: Lee-White coagulation time (in minutes), hematocrit (Ht in %), Hb/Ht ratio (in g/l/%), platelet count (in 106/l); temperature gradient (in °C) as difference between central and peripheral temperature of body; further, the values are evaluated in points in accordance with Table 2 contained in the description, the obtained points are summed up, and if sum of points is equal to 0, then it indicates compensated state of patient, ≥2.5…≤5 points – to subcompensated state, ≥5.25…≤10 points – to decompensated state, that allows to perform transportation at compensated state of patient, in a subcompensated condition perform transportation with continuation of the full intensive monitoring and intensive therapy, in case of decompensated condition transportation is not performed, to continue the corresponding intensive monitoring and intensive therapy in accordance with the diagnosis and perform transportation after the decompensation state transition to the subcompensation state.

EFFECT: method enables evaluating the transportability of children with acute respiratory dysfunction.
