FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anesthesiology, resuscitation, thoracic, abdominal surgery, and can be used to pre-operatively determine the risk of perioperative cardio-pulmonary complications. Carry out cardio-respiratory testing. As a cardio-respiratory test, a veloergometric test is performed in the form of a two-step physical load. First stage of physical activity is 55 W and is performed for three minutes. Second stage of the load is 80 W and is performed for two minutes. After each stage of the exercise, the patient is given rest before restoring the initial parameters of blood pressure and heart rate. Before and after the test, parameters are determined: energy requirement and arteriovenous (a-v) oxygen difference. With the combined achievement of energy requirements of 1.14–1.92 kcal/min and a-v difference in oxygen 60–107 ml O2/1,000 ml of blood predict the occurrence of perioperative cardio-pulmonary complications.
EFFECT: method allows a safe preoperative assessment of the risk of perioperative cardio-pulmonary complications due to a two-stage bicycle ergometric test and evaluation of a set of the most significant indicators.
