CARDIAC, CARDIOPULMONARY AND/OR HAEMODYNAMIC PHENOTYPING Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61M16/00

Abstract RU 2725969 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: system for maintaining artificial lung ventilation (ALV) comprises an artificial ventilation device; a controller operably connected to the artificial ventilation device; and memory storing instructions executed by controller. Instructions serve to control the artificial ventilation device to implement a therapeutic technique selected so as to cause the target receptors to initiate the autoregulation response in the patient, connected to artificial ventilation system; determining, based on signals received from a vital signs indicator, changes in vital signs, caused by initiating autoregulation response in patient; generating cardiac, cardiopulmonary or hemodynamic patient phenotype based on measured changes; controlling the artificial ventilation apparatus in accordance with the phenotype; comparing or grouping a patient based on certain changes in vital signs, caused by initiation of autoregulation response in patient, with other patients having similar changes in vital signs; determining therapeutic techniques effective for a group of patients, having similar changes in vital signs; and controlling the ventilator maintenance device in accordance with said specific therapeutic techniques. What is disclosed is a method for generating cardiac, cardiopulmonary and/or haemodynamic patient phenotypes.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring maintenance of artificial ventilation.
