FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical engineering and can be used as an element of optical decoupling on Faraday effect for lasers with high average radiation power. Essence of the invention is that the Faraday isolator on permanent magnets with high magnetic field strength comprises a polariser arranged on an optical axis, a magneto-optical element installed in a magnetic system, and an analyzer, wherein the magnetic cores are arranged such that between them and the central permanent magnet regions of side permanent magnets are located.
EFFECT: high maximum permissible operating power of a Faraday isolator while maintaining a given degree of insulation.
