Device for predicting an optimal solution of attack and defence in a scenario of potential military conflict has a data input unit configured to input data of the attacker and the data of the defender and the central unit into the device. Central unit comprises a simulation unit configured to generate a game tree, estimated based on the input data in the context of game theory, a permission unit configured to set game balance in the context of game theory, an interpretation unit configured to determine, based on game equilibrium, an optimum attack and defence solution, an information transmission unit configured to transmit an optimum attack and defence solution to an operator or a user system. Method of predicting an optimal attack solution and the corresponding optimal defence solution comprises a data input step, a resolution step, an interpretation step and a data transmission step.
