FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to diagnostics in oncology, and can be used for diagnosing infiltrative renal tumors. Magnetic resonance imaging is performed, including T2, T2 with suppression of fat signal, DWI: b=0, b=1000 and T1 in phase and antiphase, with performance of anatomically oriented T2-weighted isovoxel MR-tomograms. In the plane crossing the vessels of the renal peduncle, the upper and lower poles of the kidney, the angle between the tangents to the extreme points of the tumor and the nearest vertex of the renal pyramid is measured – a corticotumoral angle. ADC-diffusion coefficient in tumor tissue is measured in solid components or capsule. In the presence of neoplastic process with a heterogeneous structure, irregularly-shaped portions without falling signal T1 in phase and antiphase ADC having a value less than 0.001 mm2/s, the measurement is corticotumoral angle in the coronal and axial planes. If corticotumoral angle is 90° and more, suggest a malignant nature of the process. If corticotumoral angle is less than 90° suggesting benign character of the process.
EFFECT: method provides higher diagnostic accuracy of expansive and infiltrative kidney formation by determining the corticotumoral angle and ADC.
