FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used for performing anterior circular capsulorhexis. Anterior capsule is perforated and a flap is formed, further traction of the flap along the circumference to capsulorhexis of the required diameter. If capsulorhexis of irregular shape less than planned diameter is formed, segment of capsulorhexis requiring expansion is determined. In the selected segment, the aspiration cannula is brought under the edge of the anterior capsule and fixed with a vacuum to the surface of the capsule at a distance of not more than the diameter of the cannula from the edge of the anterior capsule. Irrigation cannula is placed on the surface of the capsule above the aspiration cannula and the cannulas are frictioned against each other in a horizontal plane with an edge of the front capsule squeezed between them, displacing center of force application to capsule edge to formation of anterior capsule tearing not more than 1 mm depending on planned expansion size of capsulorhexis. Further, the torn edge of the anterior capsule is fixed with an aspiration cannula accompanied by continuing irrigation-aspiration and subjected to traction along the circumference to form anterior capsulorhexis of the required diameter. If necessary, the manipulations are repeated in another segment to obtain anterior capsulorhexis of the planned diameter.
EFFECT: method provides formation of anterior capsulorhexis of required diameter of round shape due to expansion of irregular capsulorhexis segment.
