FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of compounds with biological activity. Method of producing binuclear hydrate N,O-complexes of copper (II) with 1-[(dimethylamino) methyl]-2-naphthol involves reacting 1-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-2-naphthol with copper (II) salts selected from (CH3COO)2Cu⋅H2O, CuCl2⋅2H2O, CuBr2, at molar ratio of copper (II) salt: 1-[(dimethylamino) methyl]-2-naphthol, equal to 1:1, in an ethanol medium at 50 °C and atmospheric pressure for 1–3 hours.
EFFECT: synthesized compounds of the method have fungicidal activity.
