FIELD: glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant glass, particularly, to production of multilayer fire-resistant glass. Method of producing ablative transparent hydrogel for making fire-resistant glass, in which components for its production are monomer of chloride [3-Methacryloamino) propyl] trimethylammonium (from 10 % to 40 % of weight of hydrogel) and an aqueous phase consisting of a solution of a water-soluble NaCl salt (from 10 % to 18 % of the weight of the hydrogel) and water (from 40 % to 65 % of the weight of the hydrogel). Cross-linking agent used is N-N'-methylene bisacrylamide in amount of 0.2 % to 1.2 % of weight of monomer in solution. Oxidising agent used in the catalyst system is sodium persulphate (Na2S2O8) or ammonium persulphate, and as accelerators – diethylaminopropionitrile or triethanolamine in glycol. Catalyst system is used in amount of 0.06 % to 0.25 % of weight of aqueous polymerisable solution.
EFFECT: providing simplification and improvement of safety of technological process due to exclusion of toxic substances from it when producing ablative transparent hydrogel for making fire-resistant glass.
