SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting device for production of cast sheet from homogenised tobacco material, containing cast box adapted for containing pulp from homogenised tobacco material; movable base; casting system adapted to apply pulp contained in cast box to movable base so as to form cast sheet; sensor for determining thickness of cast sheet; wherein the sensor includes a slider having a flat surface adapted to be in contact with the upper surface of the cast sheet, and a height detector adapted to measure the height of the flat surface so as to find the thickness of the cast sheet.

EFFECT: technical result consists in effective control of composition of homogenised tobacco material for control, aerosol taste.
